Lindle Google OAuth and Connected Data Information

This page explains how Lindle uses Google OAuth and handles data from connected Google services.

Lindle is operated by Fulton Industries Ltd.

1. Why Lindle uses Google OAuth

Lindle may use Google OAuth for:

• account authentication
• connecting authorised Google services
• allowing users to select Google Analytics properties
• providing connected reporting and commercial-intelligence features

Google displays the requested permissions before access is granted.

Lindle receives only the information and permissions approved through that process.

2. Basic account information

Where Google is used for authentication, basic information shared may include:

• Google account identifier
• name
• email address
• profile information disclosed on the consent screen

This information may be used to:

• create or identify a Lindle account
• authenticate the user
• associate the user with an organisation or workspace
• manage access and permissions

3. Google Analytics connection

Where a user connects Google Analytics 4, Lindle may request the read-only scope:

https://www.googleapis.com/auth/analytics.readonly

This may allow Lindle to read information such as:

• available Google Analytics properties
• traffic sources
• channel groupings
• sessions and users
• events and conversions
• acquisition metrics
• aggregated website behaviour
• reporting dimensions and metrics

The user selects which authorised property is connected.

4. Read-only access

Read-only Google Analytics access does not allow Lindle to:

• modify Google Analytics data
• delete Google Analytics data
• create or alter events
• change account configuration
• write information back to the property

Lindle uses the authorised data to provide user-facing features within the relevant workspace.

5. How Google data is used

Depending on enabled features, Google-connected information may be used to:

• analyse channel performance
• compare traffic and commercial movement
• explain changes
• connect website outcomes with customer-discovery signals
• support reporting
• answer authorised workspace questions
• recommend next actions
• measure outcomes

Google data is not used for:

• selling personal data
• advertising or retargeting
• determining creditworthiness
• training generalised AI models

6. AI features

Some user-facing Lindle features may use contracted AI model or inference providers.

Where a user requests analysis that requires connected data, Lindle may process only the information reasonably necessary to provide that requested feature.

Any such processing must reflect the current production architecture and provider contracts.

7. Workspace visibility

Connected information may be available to authorised members of the same Lindle workspace according to:

• user roles
• permissions
• workspace configuration
• customer agreements

It is not necessarily restricted only to the individual who completed OAuth authorisation.

8. Data storage and security

Lindle uses technical and organisational controls intended to protect:

• OAuth credentials
• access tokens
• connected-service data
• account and workspace information

Controls may include:

• encryption in transit
• protected credential storage
• access controls
• environment separation
• monitoring and audit logs
• least-privilege access

9. Revoking access

A user can review or remove Lindle’s access through Google Account third-party connections:

https://myaccount.google.com/connections

Removing access prevents future access through that authorisation and may disable associated Lindle features.

Removing Google access does not necessarily delete information already stored by Lindle. Users may contact us to request deletion, subject to applicable contracts, retention requirements and legal obligations.

10. Data retention

OAuth credentials are retained only while needed for an active authorised connection.

Other connected data is retained according to:

• workspace configuration
• customer agreements
• the Lindle Privacy Policy
• security and backup processes
• applicable legal requirements

11. Google API data commitments

Our use of information received from Google APIs is limited to providing and improving prominent user-facing Lindle features.

We do not:

• sell Google user data
• transfer it to advertising platforms or data brokers
• use it for targeted advertising
• use it for credit decisions
• use it to train generalised AI models

Service providers may process information only where necessary to provide authorised user-facing features, maintain security, comply with law or support the service under appropriate contractual restrictions.
